Sometimes we just have to step back and be thankful with what we see.
Most of the time we see our life from just inches away. By focusing too closely, our attention is in the wrong place and we tend to highlight what's wrong.
If we step back, we get the right perspective and tend to promote what's right.
Let's try to look at authors opinion in a more practical manner with an example.
Eg:- When we look at our car after a wash. Where do we stand?
Do we stand right in front or do we step back?
We all know the answer 😉
So, How do we step back?
Here is the author's suggestion.
1) Choose for 1 thing - be aware and decide often.
2) Change your environment. Find a getaway for you and your family.
Key Lesson:- In this chapter author advice the reader to take a step back in a while from their daily routine and find a getaway where they can connect and reflect to get the right perspective.
