In this chapter, the author talks about the importance of preparation.

Sometimes, we forget about these things while moving towards our goal. It's all about a detailed step, a strategy to move towards our goal.

Proper preparation is key. For some, it comes easily and for some it takes time. As we all know luck is the place where opportunity and preparation meet.

Many people so-called gurus(motivational speaker)just try to boost the confidence and enthusiasm of people in their seminar. They try to sell them on that concept.

But, they forget to teach the key ingredient of success i.e. planning. It is a strategy game that keeps you track of your goal and makes it a reality.

To give us the basic idea the author asks us few a questions.

Are we ready for the next sales call?

Did we build a plan for a successful today and tomorrow?

Key Lesson:- We must schedule our time to plan and build an accountability system to execute on that plan.

Conclusion:- Plan your work, then work your plan. Planning comes first then its time to execute.

So are you all about motivation or you plan your game so that you can be ahead of the majority. Remember it's all a strategy game.

In this chapter, the author talks about paradigms.

Paradigms?

Paradigm is a model or pattern of something. If you know "Bob Proctor" you are well aware of the paradigm shifting.

Here the author talks about owning your words.

Words??

Yes, words mean things. It tells about person attitude. Here is an example.

Couldn't                          Wouldn't

How well you use these two words tells a lot about you. Let's find out what the author is trying to say.

Couldn't:- Victim mindset, poor paradigm, uncontrollable

Wouldnt:- Ownership mindset, good paradigm, controllable

Now you can see all these minute words can actually have a deep importance in our life.

So, the author encourages us to own our words and change our paradigm in a winner mindset.

Key Lesson:- Our words precede our action. The way we think affects what we say and do. The best way to influence behaviour is to change our words, which will change our actions and eventually change our thinking.

Conclusion:- Words drive behaviour. Change the words and you will change your thinking.

So, here is a question for you. Do you own your words?? 🤔

People Math???🤔

We all are familiar with Math aka Mathematics. For most of us, it is the scariest subject till today. Don't be embarrassed if you are one of them.

Even I have to figure out these subjects in my school year and truth to be told I was pretty bad with it. But I managed to make it work by trying harder and probably you did the same.

There are few individuals who love it. Some of them may be your friend or other famous personality such as "Grant Cardone" and "Patrick Bet David".

Do the Math Or Millionaire Math- Grant Cardone

Life is all about Math - Patrick Bet David

If you don't know them, I highly recommend you follow them great stuff to learn about the sales, entrepreneurship and personal development. Now, let's get back to the author version of math.

According to the author in our life, we come across different kind of people. He categorizes them as

1) Adders  2) Subtractors
 3) Dividers  4) Multiplier

1) + :- These are the people who add value. They enhance the relationship and helps in improving the team performance by working with others.

2) - :-  These are the people who only see negative. They always point out what's wrong in the situation. These are the people who take away from every relationship, though it's usually not intentional.

3) ÷ :-  These are the people similar to subtractor but, these people do it intentionally usually for their selfish needs.

4) × :-  These are the people who not only grow relationship but, they also grow others who in turn grow the team and relationships. They help in enhancing positive change and growth even when they are not around.

Key Lessons:- Here the author encourages us to become a multiplier in peoples life by nurturing and growing your relationship with them.

Conclusion:- Become a multiplier and help others grow and evolve with you.

Avoid negative( subtractor, dividers). Beware of such personality.

So, now let me ask you.
Which personality describe you the best ?? 😉

In this chapter, the author talks about his past incident when he was on a cruise ship on his way to Hubbard Bay, Alaska.
So, what was it all about? Let's find out.

The ship was getting into nasty weather and power of influence was about to take a toll on him. He headed from breakfast straight to business meeting. He was in an auditorium watching the guy on stage as the curtain swayed, behind him.

All people from audience running out with their hands covering their mouth. The author was watching them and trying to control himself. You know what I mean 😉 some pep talk like he is fine, no problem, think good thoughts and all that stuff.

So, what happened to author? Did he??? You know what I mean to say 😅

Yes, He was sick too, laying in the shower for a while. The funny part was half of the ship was doing the same thing.😲😂

Was he really sick??? Not sure.

The influence of those around him, coupled with thoughts of greasy breakfast and darn swaying curtain got him.

Key Lesson:- Influence is extremely powerful. We are influencing others and they are influencing us.

Conclusion:- Become good                 Influencer.

For Leaders:-  How are you being        influenced?

Who are you influencing?

                            OR

They are being inspired to be tenacious, kind, patience and keep their words.

In this chapter, the author shares a story of his friend's wife. His friend's wife is up and running every morning as a part of her daily exercise plan. She is a very committed lady and uses it as a way of ensuring a daily win.

Similar to the lady we all have our daily routine i.e. from morning to night. Even the author starts his morning with a guaranteed win by simply doing what he said he would.

Here the author talks about self-discipline which is a mark of a true leader. The author encourages us to have a daily routine or small setup to start our day and use it as our daily win to encourage and boost our confidence.

The greatest victory is over self and these wins are little but powerful victories over self - Aristotle

One of the most powerful and common habits among winners is Self-discipline.

Key Lesson:- Self-discipline is the basic factor among winners. So the author encourages us to be more disciplined.

Winners plan their day beforehand. So in order to get the maximum of our day, we must plan it beforehand.

Conclusion:- Master the habit of self-discipline.

Be goal oriented and try to hit them daily to ensure the daily win.
